Leinster League Presentation

Monday, 20th February, 2012

With the end of the league season fast approaching, the Leinster League presentation night has been confirmed for Saturday 21st April, at Home Farm Football Club, Whitehall, from 8pm – 1am. Tickets for the event will be €12 per person.

Finger food will be served at 8.30pm, followed by the presentation of awards for Shield, League and Cup competitions. A raffle will also take place on the night.

Athy Open

Athy Table Tennis club is holding their annual tournament on March 10th, 2012.

The competition takes place at the Athy Church of Ireland Centre, Offaly Street, Athy, Co. Kildare.

The competition includes both singles, doubles and banded events.

Irish National Championships Entry Form

The entry form for this years Irish National Championships is now available: click here to download entry form.

This is not an Open event, so entrants must either be Irish, or have proof of residence for over 6 years.

The competition takes place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March, in Alsaa.

Closing date for entries is Monday 20th February.

Sports Hall Access

All members are reminded that in order to access the sports hall, they should use their sportsco key fob to pass the security gates.

Any members having trouble passing the gates, or does not have a key fob yet, should contact the reception desk.

Ganaway Table Tennis Challenge

Monday, 30th January, 2012

Entry form available for a small competition being organised by the Bangor & District League.

It will take place in Ganaway Boys’ Brigade Centre, Ballywhiskin (outside Millisle), Co. Down on Saturday 25th February.

Entry fee is £12 and Competition is limited to 36 players.

Christmas Opening Hours

Tuesday, 13th December, 2011

The last club training session of 2011 will take place on Wednesday 14th December.

The sports hall will be unavailable over the Christmas period due to maintenance work.

The first session of 2012 will be on Wednesday 4th January.

From everyone at the club, hope you all have a good Christmas!

National Team Event

ESB Sportsco will be entering a team for the forthcoming National Team Event in IWA, Clontarf on the 19th and 20th November. Teams from all over Ireland will be taking part, aiming to be crowned National Team champions.

The ESB Sportsco team consists of:

• Ruben Illera

Shield Competition 2011

The first competition of the new Leinster League season, the Shield, commences on Monday 24th October, and ESB will have 4 teams taking part.  Our teams for the new season are as follows:

ESB 3: Nigely Byrne, Jimmy Flemming, Aidan O’Regan
