In Group A, Pat McCloughan is top of the group with 7 wins from 7. He is followed by Teresa, Dylan and Darius.

In Group B, Tommy also has 100% record to lead the group, ahead of Joel and Shay.

The group matches continue next Wednesday night and for the final Wednesday night, the top half of Group A will play against the top half of Group B, and the same goes for the bottom half. Prizes will be awarded for the Winner and Runner-up in both divisions.

In Division 1, John Murphy continues to top the group, but he did drop his first set last night, which was against Conor. Artur has moved up to 2nd after winning all of his matches last night, with Darek dropping to 3rd after losing 3-2 to Ferenc. Tommy, Ferenc, Dave and Tom are all battling for 4th spot with very little separating them.

In Division 2, Andre moved clear of the rest by maintaining his 100% record, but he did have some close 5 set matches against Darren and Declan. Darren is in 2nd spot having only lost to Andre, and Michael is in 3rd after dropping points against Leigh and Eric. Leigh moved up to joint 3rd after winning all his matches last night. Eric, Ken and Sean completes the top half and are just a few wins away from the leading players.

In Division 3, Cecilia is the only player maintaing a 100% record. John is in 2nd spot, after losing only 1 match which was to Michael. Dimitri is in 3rd after being beaten by Greg, with Margaret and Norah up in 4th spot.

Division 1 had a very high standard, including Irish No.1 John Murphy, who unsurprising enough, won all of his matches without dropping a set. He is joined at the top of the table along with last years runner-up Derek. Dara enjoyed an early spell at the top of the table after beating Tommy in the opening match. There were some notables matches with Ciaran beating Tibor, Ferenc beating Artur, and Tom beating Dara and Ferenc.

In Division 2, Darren, Michael and Andre all have 100% record so far. The top three only dropped 2 sets each all night. They are followed closely by Ken, who lost 3-2 to Jack. The chasing pack include Carmel, Jack, Jimmy and Leigh.

In Division 3, Dimitri, John, Igor and Cecilia are all unbeaten so far, and with the likes of Greg and Julien still yet to play, this group should be very close. Norah had a very good week winning 4 of her 5 matches to finish in joint 2nd, along with Margaret, Frank and Michael.

The first Summer League event is fully booked up, but if anyone is still interested in playing the 2nd event, please submit your name here.

The next available club night for members will be on Wednesday 6th June.

Also, if anyone who has entered already would prefer to play on the Wednesday only event, and would like to swap, just let me know. It is also possible to play both events if you are interested. There should be a few less people in the second event, but that should mean less waiting around between matches. If you would like to enter the second Summer League event, just send me your details, before it fills up!

Competition starts at 7.30pm each night.

The competitions start at 7:30pm each evening. It will cost €25 to enter, and the entry can be paid on the opening night.

The competition is run across 3 divisions, with each division consisting of about 16 players. Each player plays against everyone in their division over the 4 weeks and at the end of the final week, there is a playoff between the top players in each division.
